Privatenote is a free and Open Source solution to securely share messages like passwords. The message gets encrypted in the browser and then transmitted to the server. The password is never sent to the server, so it's not possible to decrypt the message on the server. If "Destroy on read" is enabled, the message is destroyed after it has been read, only the browser which read it can open it again within 24 hours. For the API Docs visit /api

The password is never sent to the server, even when it's part of the link. For additional security, share the link without the password and send the password over a different channel (e.g. link by mail, password by messenger), so intercepting one of them isn't enough to read the message.
